Life. It happens fast, and even faster with kids.
Kids seem to grow up in a week. I swear, I’ll take a glance at one of my daughters and wonder when she grew up? How did that happen? When I look through old photos, it makes me so happy to see how little they were, but then I realize just how quickly time goes by. I also understand kids don’t sit still, they don’t smile when you want them to, but they sure do love treats!
My goal for a children’s session is simply to capture them as they are in that moment, whether that’s shy and hiding behind dad’s leg or full of energy and jumping off anything they can find. There is no right or wrong session, no good or bad, I simply try to have fun and give each child an opportunity to be themselves. Mom and dad, get prepared for them to be getting a little dirty and let me take them off your hands for a few minutes.
As fall sneaks in, we all start to think about holiday cards and getting family photos. I take the stress out of family photos by heading outside, playing around, and having fun with you and your family. Posed shots in the studio really aren’t my thing, but instead I love getting to know your family and capturing you all together being you in your element, whether that’s at home or outdoors.
what to expect during your session
Be prepared to laugh and be silly or if that’s not your thing, then lots of snuggles and hugs. Connection is our goal.
Potty humor. As a parent it gets old to hear your six year old say “poop” and laugh about it, but hey, it works great to get kids to laugh for photos.
A full online gallery delivered electronically in about two to three weeks.
One hour session at a location of your choice, whether that is indoors out outdoors.
Fun! Sit back and relax now that you have your family dressed, your job is done. Enjoy your time together and let me take the lead.
Secret treats. Because we all know kids love a little bit of sugar and are more willing to get their photo taken with a bribe.
